Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival and transfer to the hotel
  • Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our Alpha adventure safaris representative and drive to the hotel for relaxation, meals and the night as you prepare for the next day’s activities. Stay at Lake Victoria Serena golf resort and spa for luxury, Kaazi beach for mid-range and budget.

Day 2 Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Approx. 512 Km)
  • After an early morning breakfast, our professional driver guide will pick you from the hotel and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park well known for its endangered mountain gorillas.
  • You will stop for an hour in Kayabwe at the Uganda equator for equator experience and photography.
  • You will then proceed with your journey and have lunch along the way.
  • Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night. Stay at Chameleon hill lodge for luxury, Mucha lodge for mid-range and Gorilla valley lodge for budget.

Day 3 Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community visit in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters to join other trackers for registration and briefing about Dos and Don’ts
  • You will start your gorilla trekking activity and once you find the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour interacting with them, taking pictures and later on you will return back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
  • After lunch and relaxation, you will visit the Batwa community for cultural experience as they entertain you through cultural performances. They will show you how they used to hunt small animals for food, their gathering skills, among others. After this rewarding experience, you will return back to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night.

Day 4 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive and Boat cruise (approx.129 km)
  • After an early morning breakfast, you will depart from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions and wildlife viewing experiences, found in Queen Elizabeth national park.
  • Tree climbing lions are only found in Uganda, Tanzania and Kruger national park in South Africa.
  • The best place to see them is in Uganda. While looking out for the lions, expect to spot many other creatures for example hyenas, leopards, buffalos, elephants etc. After enough of the game drive, you will check into your lodge for relaxation and lunch. After relaxation and lunch, our guide will transfer you to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. The channel is collection point for most of the park animals and is one of the best spots to see wildlife in Africa. It is also one of the best places to go for birding in Uganda.
  • Drive back to your lodge for dinner and a beautiful night. Stay at Ishasha wilderness camp for luxury, Enganzi game lodge for mid-range and Queen Elizabeth bush lodge for budget.

Day 5 Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Murchison falls National Park (Approx. 369.2km)
  • After an early morning breakfast, you will set off from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Murchison falls national park. Upon your arrival at Murchison falls national park, you will check into your lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch you will embark on a visit to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view and the opportunity to capture stunning photos, including the rainbow created by the cascading water.
  • Head back to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening. Stay at Fort Murchison lodge for mid-range and Murchison River lodge for budget.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 6 Murchison Falls National Park (Game drive and Boat Trip) and Transfer to Entebbe for departure with an en route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. (Approx. 305 km)
  • Begin your day early with a thrilling morning game drive, offering the best opportunity to observe wildlife when they are most active.
  • As you traverse the Nyamsika Plateau, keep our eyes peeled for sightings of Cape buffalos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and heartbeats, among other fascinating species.
  • Return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy for the day ahead. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Nile, providing a unique perspective to observe aquatic animals such as crocodiles and hippos basking along the riverbanks. Marvel at the diverse birdlife, including kingfishers, cormorants, saddle-bill storks, the rare shoebill stork, pelicans, bee-eaters, Egyptian geese, and the majestic Goliath heron, among others.
  • After the boat cruise, you will enjoy lunch at your lodge and later on transfer from Murchison falls National Park to back to Entebbe with an en route visit to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. Upon your arrival at Ziwa rhino sanctuary, you will embark on a unique opportunity to encounter rhinos, one of the Big Five.
  • Engage in a rhino trek that will immerse you in the beauty of these magnificent creatures. After this rewarding experience which lasts for 2-3 hours, you will continue with your journey up to Entebbe. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or you will be dropped at a place of your own choice in Entebbe or Kampala.
