Day 1 Arrival and transfer to the hotel
  • Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative and drive to the hotel for relaxation, meals and the night as you prepare for the next day’s activities. Stay at Lake Victoria Serena golf and spa for luxury, Kaazi beach resort for mid-range and budget.

Day 2 Kampala City Tour & Ndere Cultural Experience
  • After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation to start an exciting day of exploring Kampala. Begin by visiting key landmarks, including the Kabaka's Palace and Buganda Palace, which offer deep insights into the history of the Buganda Kingdom, followed by the serene Baha’is Temple, a spiritual retreat offering beautiful views and tranquil gardens, You will also visit Gadhafi mosque.
  • After a morning of discovery, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Ugandan cuisine.
  • After enjoying lunch, your city tour continues with visits to Gaddafi Mosque, one of Uganda’s largest mosques with a panoramic view of Kampala, and the bustling Nakasero Market and Owino Market (Balikuddembe). These vibrant markets offer everything from fresh produce and traditional crafts to unique souvenirs and African attire. After shopping and exploring the markets, you’ll head to Ndere Cultural Centre in the evening for a cultural treat.
  • Evening, the day culminates with a visit to Ndere Cultural Troupe, where you’ll enjoy an immersive experience of Uganda’s rich cultural heritage through traditional music, dance, storytelling, and folklore. Day 3 Transfer to Kanyanda at Ewaka community (Approx. 71km)
  • After enjoying breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation by our driver. You'll head to Kanyanda, where you'll visit Ewaka community project, a project under the Kanyanda Women and Youth Initiative. Here, you'll take part in an immersive local food preparation experience and also interact with the locals. Afterwards, you will enjoy a meal featuring the local dishes you helped prepare. After enjoying lunch, you will participate in planting indigenous trees on Ewaka farm.
  • After this enriching day of cultural and educational exchange, you'll drive back to Kampala at your accommodation for dinner and the beautiful night. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4 Kampala to Jinja (Approx. 87km) - Ssezibwa Falls, Mabira Forest Walk & Source of the Nile Boat Cruise.
  • After an early breakfast, you'll meet your tour leader for a briefing before setting off for Jinja along the Kampala-Jinja Highway. Along the way, you’ll make a stop at Ssezibwa Falls, where you'll learn about the rich cultural significance of these scenic waterfalls and capture some memorable photos.
  • Continue your journey to Mabira Forest, a stunning natural reserve teeming with diverse birdlife, primates, and unique tree species. Here, you'll embark on a guided nature walk through the forest, keeping an eye out for various birds, butterflies, and forest animals.
  • After the forest walk, resume your journey to Jinja, passing extensive tea and sugarcane plantations en route. Upon arrival in Jinja, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile River. This tranquil cruise will take you to the Source of the Nile, with an opportunity to visit Samuka Island, a haven for bird watching. Day 5 White Water Rafting & Transfer to Mount Elgon National Park (Approx. 150km)
  • Start your day with an early morning breakfast before heading out for an exciting day of white water rafting on the Nile. After a safety briefing, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure through different rapids, navigating the powerful waters of the river. For those who prefer alternative activities, options like horseback riding around $70 per person, kayaking around $150 per person, or even bungee jumping at around $120 are available.
  • After the adrenaline-filled rafting adventure, you'll enjoy a well-deserved late lunch before checking out of your hotel.
  • In the afternoon you will begin your journey to Mount Elgon National Park in Eastern Uganda, a journey through scenic landscapes and rural villages. On arrival, you will check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Mount Elgon hotel and spa for luxury, Sipi valley resort for mid-range and Rafiki lodge for budget.

Day 6 Hiking through Sipi Falls Trail and Community Experience
  • After breakfast, you will hike through the Sipi Falls trail system, enjoying breathtaking views of the cascading waterfalls. Return back to your lodge for lunch and after lunch you will learn about local coffee farming through a guided coffee tour in nearby villages. For adventurous souls, experience abseiling down the falls (optional). Engage with the Sabiny and Bagishu communities to experience their unique culture. Later on return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night.

Day 7 Journey to Kidepo Valley National Park (Approx. 409.5km)
  • After enjoying breakfast, you will set off for Kidepo Valley National Park, passing through Karamoja, Uganda’s northeast region. Along the way, visit local markets to see vibrant cultural displays of traditional craftsmanship.
  • You will have lunch along the way at a local restaurant and after lunch you will drive up to Kidepo Valley National Park.
  • Arrive in the evening and check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Apoka safari lodge for luxury, Kidepo savanna lodge for both mid-range and budget.

Day 8 Nature walk and Game drive
  • After an early morning breakfast, you will begin your day with a nature walk, immersing yourself in Kidepo valley National park’s breathtaking scenery. Guided by experienced rangers, discover the park’s diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy lunch at your lodge.
  • After lunch, embark on a game drive, where you can spot giraffes, elephants, buffalos and zebras against the stunning savannah backdrop.

Day 9 Game drive and Cultural encounter
  • Enjoy breakfast and spend the morning on another thrilling game drive, exploring Kidepo’s rugged terrain. Visit the Kidepo River, a lifeline for the park’s incredible wildlife. After enjoying this wonderful experience, you will return back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
  • Later on you will delve into the local culture by visiting the Karamajong community. Learn about their traditional practices, vibrant customs and resilience.

Day 10 Transfer to Murchison Falls (Approx. 314.3km)
  • After breakfast, depart Kidepo and travel to Murchison Falls National Park via Gulu. Enjoy a scenic drive through Northern Uganda’s plains, stopping for lunch en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and rest in preparation for upcoming adventures in the park.

Day 11 Murchison Falls NP (Game drive, Boat Trip and Community)
  • Begin your day early with a thrilling morning game drive, offering the best opportunity to observe wildlife when they are most active.
  • As you traverse the Nyamsika Plateau, keep our eyes peeled for sightings of Cape buffalos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and heartbeats, among other fascinating species.
  • Return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy for the day ahead. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Nile, providing a unique perspective to observe aquatic animals such as crocodiles and hippos basking along the riverbanks. Marvel at the diverse birdlife, including kingfishers, cormorants, saddle-bill storks, the rare shoebill stork, pelicans, bee-eaters, Egyptian geese, and the majestic Goliath heron, among others.
  • After the boat cruise, return to your hotel for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, visit a nearby community to gain insight into the locals' way of life, including their craftsmanship and traditional activities.

Day 12 Murchison Falls NP (Nature walk and Hiking to the top of the falls)
  • After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will have a nature walk. You will explore this park on foot to discover its beauty and expect to see beautiful birds, beautiful vegetation, different animals like the bushbucks, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, warthogs, oribis, monkeys among others.
  • Return back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
  • After enjoying lunch embark on a hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view and the opportunity to capture stunning photos, including the rainbow created by the cascading water.
  • Following your visit to the falls, return to your lodge for dinner and a beautiful night.

Day 13 Transfer to Kibale National Park with an en route visit to Bunyoro palace (Approx. 284km)
  • After an early morning breakfast, depart from Murchison falls National Park to Kibale National Park.
  • Have a stopover in Hoima town and visit the Bunyoro palace and also have lunch at a local restaurant as you also stretch your legs before you proceed with your journey up to Kibale National Park.
  • Upon your arrival at Kibale National, you will check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Turaco Tree Tops for luxury, Isunga lodge for mid-range and Rwenzori view guest house for budget.

Day 14 Kibale National Park (Chimpanzee trekking and Community walk)
  • After breakfast, head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center on time for a briefing at 08:00am.
  • Here, you will learn about the dos and don'ts while in the forest searching for chimpanzees (Chimpanzee tracking). Kibale Forest is home to 13 primate species, earning it the title of the primate capital of the world.
  • During your trek, which lasts two to three hours, you are likely to encounter the chimpanzees as they move and interact in their natural habitat. You will also have the opportunity to observe various bird species and a variety of butterflies.
  • After chimpanzee tracking, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
  • After lunch and relaxation, you will visit the nearby community to gain insight on the ways of life of the local community leaving around Kibale National Park.
  • Return back to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night.

Day 15 Bigodi nature walk and travel to Semliki National Park (Approx. 80km)
  • After enjoying breakfast, you will embark on the Bigodi Walk where you will encounter monkeys and a diverse array of birdlife.
  • After this wonderful experience, you will return back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation and later on you will transfer to Semliki National Park renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and diverse wildlife. Upon your arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner and the night. Stay at Semliki safari lodge for luxury and Mountain of the moon hotel for mid-range and budget.

Day 16 Explore Semliki National Park (Game drive and Sempaya Hot Springs visit)
  • On this day, you will begin with an early morning breakfast at your lodge, followed by a thrilling morning game drive in Semliki National Park. This game drive will offer breathtaking views of the Park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and an array of bird species.
  • After working on the appetite, you will return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later, you will visit the Sempaya Hot Springs, a fascinating geological wonder.
  • Here you will experience the unique opportunity to cook plantains and eggs in the natural hot water, boiling food in seconds using the steaming hot water
  • You will explore the female and the male hot springs, marveling at the unique geological formations and surrounding vegetation.
  • After this rewarding experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night.

Day 17 Semliki National Park (Nature walk and Bakonzo community visit)
  • On this day, you will enjoy breakfast at your lodge, followed by a leisurely nature walk in the surrounding areas of Semliki National Park. This morning nature walk offers opportunities to spot local bird species, plants and scenic views.
  • After the nature walk, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later on you will embark on a community visit to explore the Bakonzo people, an indigenous tribe living near Semliki National Park. You will experience the rich cultural heritage of the Bakonzo, learning about their traditional practices, customs and way of life. Later, you will return back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 18 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Boat cruise at the Kazinga channel (approx.130km)
  • After breakfast, you will depart from Semliki National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and later on proceed up to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon your arrival, our guide will transfer you to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise.
  • The channel is collection point for most of the park animals and is one of the best spots to see wildlife in Africa. It is also one of the best places to go for birding in Uganda.
  • After enjoying the boat cruise, you will check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and a night. Stay at Ishasha wilderness camp for luxury, Enganzi game lodge for mid-range and Queen Elizabeth bush lodge for budget.

Day 19 Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game drives and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Approx. 129km)
  • You will set off early with packed breakfast from your hotel for an early morning game drive to spot the early risers and the nocturnal mammals going back to their dens. Predators like hyenas, leopards and some extent lions tend to be less active during the day.
  • The best time to see them is very early in the morning when the sun is not yet out hot. You will spot buffaloes, hippos, leopards and lions as well as resident and migratory birds. Once you are done with the game drive, you will head back to the hotel for lunch and rest.
  • After lunch and relaxation, you will embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha area for tree climbing lions and wildlife viewing experiences, found in Queen Elizabeth national park.
  • Tree climbing lions are only found in Uganda, Tanzania and Kruger national park in South Africa.
  • The best place to see them is in Uganda. While looking out for the lions, expect to spot many other creatures. After enough of the game drive, you will proceed with your journey up to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Upon your arrival, you will check into your lodge for relaxation and the night. Stay at Chameleon hill lodge for luxury, Mucha lodge for mid-range and Gorilla valley lodge for budget.

Day 20 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters with your packed lunch to join other trackers for registration and briefing about Dos and Don’ts
  • You will start your gorilla trekking activity and once you find the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour interacting with them, taking pictures and you will be driven back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the night. Depending on your energy levels, you will also participate in other activities within your lodge like yoga class, live music, spa services, among others.

Day 21 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Batwa community and Nature walk)
  • After enjoying breakfast, you will visit the Batwa community for cultural experience as they entertain you through cultural performances. They will show you how they used to hunt small animals for food, their gathering skills, among others.
  • You will return back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch you will embark on a leisurely nature walk to explore the park’s flora and fauna. Later on you will return back to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night.

Day 22 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Lake Bunyonyi (approx. 72km, 2-3 hours drive)
  • Enjoy breakfast, and depart for Lake Bunyonyi which locally means the place for little birds.
  • Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi and check into your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
  • After lunch, have an enjoyable boat cruise and expect to see different bird species like red chested sun birds, the fly catchers, white tailed herons, wood peckers among others after the boat cruise, have dinner and the beautiful night at your lodge. Stay at Birds nest lodge.

Day 23 Lake Bunyonyi
  • Have breakfast and start your nature walk where you will be able to terraced farmlands, beautiful landscapes, views of the lake, visit the bamboo forest, spot some animals like zebras, antelopes among others.
  • Return back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxations
  • After lunch and some relaxation, you will embark on canoeing over Lake Bunyonyi surface. You don’t need to worry about crocodiles and hippos because they are not found there in Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is also among Uganda’s few lakes that are Bilharzia free as the safest lake.

Day 24 Lake Bunyonyi to Nshenyi cultural village (Approx. 143km)
  • After breakfast, depart from Lake Bunyonyi and head to Nshenyi Cultural Village, located near Kitwe Town on the edge of Ntungamo District.
  • Nshenyi Cultural Village offers a unique opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle of the Banyankole people.
  • Upon arrival, have lunch and immerse yourself in the community through various activities, including nature walks, visiting homesteads, and learning about farming tools and techniques passed down through generations. Accommodation will be in a homestay, providing an authentic and immersive cultural experience.

Day 25 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Nature walk (Approx. 91 km)
  • After enjoying a delicious breakfast, depart from Nshenyi Cultural Village and head to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch en route and continue with your journey up to Lake Mburo National Park, where you'll begin to spot wildlife as you drive through the park.
  • Upon your arrival, you will embark on a thrilling nature walk. This activity allows you to get up close to the game without disturbing them, offering a unique perspective of the park's wildlife. Later on you will check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night. Day 26 Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
  • Enjoy an early morning breakfast and start your day with an early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the park's diverse vegetation and keep an eye out for antelopes, zebras, warthogs, elands, impalas, and other wildlife as you drive through the park.
  • After the game drive, return to your hotel for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This two-hour cruise offers a different perspective of the park, allowing you to observe aquatic animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.
  • After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 27 Transfer to Entebbe (Approx. 290km)
  • After breakfast, prepare to depart for Kampala, a journey that will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. Along the way, make a stop at the equator for a unique experience of standing in two hemispheres at the same time. Take this opportunity to capture memorable photos and enjoy lunch at the equator stop.

Day 28 Entebbe Botanical gardens and UWEC

  • After lunch you will proceed to Uganda Wildlife Conservation Center (UWEC) for an engaging tour. Get up close and personal with local wildlife including monkeys, birds, and reptiles, learn about conservation efforts and the importance of protecting Uganda’s rich biodiversity.
