Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival and transfer to the hotel
  • Upon your arrival, you will drive to the hotel for relaxation, meals and the night as you prepare for the next day’s activities. Stay at Lake Victoria Serena golf resort for luxury and Kaazi beach resort for mid-range.

Day 2 Kampala City Tour & Ndere Cultural Experience

Morning: Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation to start an exciting day of exploring Kampala. Begin by visiting key landmarks, including the Kabaka's Palace and Kasubi royal tombs, which offer deep insights into the history of the Buganda Kingdom, followed by the serene Baha’is Temple, a spiritual retreat offering beautiful views and tranquil gardens, you will also visit Gadhafi mosque.

After a morning of discovery, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Ugandan cuisine.

After lunch, your city tour continues with visits to Gaddafi Mosque, one of Uganda’s largest mosques with a panoramic view of Kampala, and the bustling Nakasero Market and Owino Market (Balikuddembe). These vibrant markets offer everything from fresh produce and traditional crafts to unique souvenirs and African attire. After shopping and exploring the markets, you’ll head to Ndere Cultural Centre in the evening for a cultural treat.

Evening: The day culminates with a visit to Ndere Cultural Troupe, where you’ll enjoy an immersive experience of Uganda’s rich cultural heritage through traditional music, dance, storytelling, and folklore. This evening performance showcases Uganda’s diverse tribes and their traditions, bringing the country's cultural essence to life.

Day 3 Kampala - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (Approx. 167km) with an en route visit to Kanyanda community.

After enjoying an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked-up from your accommodation by our driver. You'll head to Kanyanda, where you'll visit Ewaka community project, a project under the Kanyanda Women and Youth Initiative. Here, you'll take part in an immersive local food preparation experience and also interact with the locals. Afterwards, you will enjoy a meal featuring the local dishes you helped prepare.

After this enriching day of cultural and educational exchange, you'll continue with your journey up to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon your arrival, you will check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Amuka safari lodge.

Day 4 Rhino Tracking and Transfer to Gulu (Approx. 170km)

After enjoying an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a unique opportunity to encounter rhinos, one of the Big Five.

Engage in a rhino trek that will immerse you in the beauty of these magnificent creatures. After that rewarding experience which lasts for 2-3 hours, you will return back to your accommodation for lunch and later on transfer from Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to Gulu. Upon your arrival, you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night. Stay at Gulu Churchill courts hotel.

Day 5 Transfer from Gulu to Kidepo valley National Park (Approx. 154km)

Following an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a scenic journey to the breathtaking Kidepo Valley National Park.

As you traverse the picturesque landscapes, vast farmlands, and quaint local villages, the allure of Africa’s untouched wilderness beckoned.

A brief stop in Kitgum town will offer a chance to stretch your legs and rejuvenate before continuing with your journey.

Upon arrival at Kidepo Valley national Park, you will check into your accommodation for a delectable lunch providing a sustenance for the afternoon’s adventures.

After enjoying lunch at your accommodation, you will embark on a leisurely nature walk, introducing you to the park’s incredible diversity of wildlife and flora. After this rewarding experience, you will return back to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night. Stay at Apoka safari luxury, Nga Moro wilderness camp for mid-range.

Day 6 Game drive and Cultural encounter

Enjoy breakfast and spend the morning on a thrilling game drive, exploring Kidepo’s rugged terrain. Visit the Kidepo River, a lifeline for the park’s incredible wildlife. After enjoying this wonderful experience, you will return back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

Later on you will delve into the local culture by visiting the Karamajong community. Learn about their traditional practices, vibrant customs and resilience.

Engage with their friendly locals, sharing stories and laughter. Later on you will return back to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night.

Day 7 Transfer to Murchison Falls (Approx. 314.3km)

After breakfast, depart Kidepo and travel to Murchison Falls National Park via Gulu. Enjoy a scenic drive through Northern Uganda’s plains, stopping for lunch en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and rest in preparation for upcoming adventures in the park.

Stay at Chobe safari lodge for luxury and Fort Murchison lodge for mid-range.

Day 8 Murchison Falls NP (Game drive, Boat Trip and Hiking to the top of the falls)
  • Begin your day early with a thrilling morning game drive, offering the best opportunity to observe wildlife when they are most active.
  • As you traverse the Nyamsika Plateau, keep our eyes peeled for sightings of Cape buffalos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and heartbeats, among other fascinating species.
  • Return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy for the day ahead. Later, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Nile, providing a unique perspective to observe aquatic animals such as crocodiles and hippos basking along the riverbanks. Marvel at the diverse birdlife, including kingfishers, cormorants, saddle-bill storks, the rare shoebill stork, pelicans, bee-eaters, Egyptian geese, and the majestic Goliath heron, among others.
  • After the boat cruise, return to your hotel for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view and the opportunity to capture stunning photos, including the rainbow created by the cascading water.
  • Head back to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening, reminiscing about the day's adventures.

Day 9 Boomu women group visit and transfer to Entebbe (Approx. 305km.)
  • Have breakfast and visit Boomu women’s group near Murchison falls national Park. Upon your arrival, you will participate in different activities like craft making workshops, local farming practices, cultural performances, etc.
  • At lunch time you will enjoy local cuisine at Boomu women group. After lunch will depart for Entebbe. Upon your arrival, you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Jet villas Eco lodge for luxury and Papyrus guest house for mid-range.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 10 Entebbe Botanical gardens and UWEC
  • After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will visit the Entebbe botanical gardens and explore the beautiful gardens, home to various plant species, birds, and monkeys, take a leisurely walk through the gardens, enjoying the serene atmosphere. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • After lunch you will proceed to Uganda Wildlife Conservation Center (UWEC) for an engaging tour. Get up close and personal with local wildlife including monkeys, birds, and reptiles, learn about conservation efforts and the importance of protecting Uganda’s rich biodiversity.
  • End the day with optional souvenir shopping in Entebbe town, picking up unique memories of your trip before you return back to your accommodation for dinner and the beautiful night

Day 11 Nature walk and Sunset Boat Cruise.
  • Enjoy breakfast and spend the day exploring Entebbe’s natural beauty. Embark on a leisurely nature walk, absorbing scenic views and spotting local bird species. Take in the fresh air and tranquility of the surroundings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Following lunch, unwind with a breathtaking sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria. Watch the sky turn golden as the sun dips below the horizon, creating unforgettable moments.
  • Before departing, consider souvenir shopping for last-minute gifts or mementos.

Day 12 Departure
  • Following your breakfast at your lodge, you will bid farewell to Entebbe and head to the airport for your flight back home.
