Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival and transfer to the hotel
  • Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by Alpha Adventure safaris representative and drive to the hotel for relaxation, meals and the night as you prepare for the next day’s activities.
  • Stay at Lake Victoria Serena golf resort for luxury, Kaazi beach resort for mid-range and budget.
  • Meals: Dinner
Day 2 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (Approx. 290km)
  • After breakfast, prepare to depart for Lake Mburo National Park, a journey that will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. Along the way, make a stop at the Uganda equator for a unique experience of standing in two hemispheres at the same time.
  • Take this opportunity to capture memorable photos. As you proceed with your journey, you will have lunch en route and later on continue up to Lake Mburo National Park.
  • Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night. Stay at Kigarama wilderness lodge for luxury, Mpogo safari lodge for mid-range and Leopard rest camp for budget.

Day 3 Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
  • Enjoy an early morning breakfast and start your day with an early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the park's diverse vegetation and keep an eye out for antelopes, zebras, warthogs, elands, impalas, and other wildlife as you drive through the park.
  • After the game drive, return to your hotel for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This two-hour cruise offers a different perspective of the park, allowing you to observe aquatic animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.
  • After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park well known for its endangered mountain gorillas.
  • You will have lunch along the way with other stopovers for sightseeing and stretching your legs and later on you will continue with your journey up to the Park.
  • Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night. Stay at Mahogany springs lodge lodge for luxury, Mucha lodge for mid-range and Gorilla valley lodge for budget.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 5 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters with your packed lunch to join other trackers for registration and briefing about Dos and Don’ts
  • You will start your gorilla trekking activity and once you find the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour interacting with them, taking pictures and you will be driven back to the your lodge for evening camp fire, relaxation, dinner and the night.

Day 6 Batwa community visit and transfer to Mgahinga National Park (approx.96 km)
  • After breakfast, visit the Batwa community for cultural experience as they entertain you through cultural performances.
  • They will show you how they used to hunt small animals for food, their gathering skills, among others. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and later on drive to Mgahinga National Park.
  • Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Chameleon Hill lodge for luxury and Lake Mulehe safari lodge for both Mid-range and budget.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 7 Golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga National Park
  • Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your lodge and transfer to the park’s headquarters for briefing on golden monkey tracking guidelines by the park rangers. They will also brief you on their habitat, behavior, etc. embark on golden monkey tracking excursion. Observe the rare, endangered primates in their natural habitats, witness their agile movements, social interactions, and fascinating behavior.
  • Return back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
  • After lunch you will spend evening at leisure or you participate in other activities within your lodge like spa services, live music, pool table, table tennis, yoga class, etc or explore the surrounding.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 8 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and an evening game drive (approx.260 km)
  • Enjoy breakfast at your lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha area.
  • You will have lunch on your way to Ishasha tree climbing lions and wildlife viewing experiences, found in Queen Elizabeth national park.
  • Tree climbing lions are only found in Uganda, Tanzania and Kruger national park in South Africa.
  • The best place to see them is in Uganda. While looking out for the lions, expect to spot many other creatures for example hyenas, leopards, buffalos, elephants etc.
  • After enough of the game drive, you will check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Ishasha wilderness camp for luxury, Enganzi game lodge for mid-range and Queen Elizabeth bush lodge for budget.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 9 Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game Drive and Boat cruise)
  • After breakfast, you will set off early with packed breakfast from your hotel for an early morning game drive to spot the early risers and the nocturnal mammals going back to their dens. Predators like hyenas, leopards and some extent lions tend to be less active during the day.
  • The best time to see them is very early in the morning when the sun is not yet out hot. You will spot buffaloes, hippos, leopards and lions as well as resident and migratory birds. Once you are done with the game drive, you will head back to the hotel for lunch and rest.
  • After lunch and relaxation, our guide will transfer you to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. The channel is collection point for most of the park animals and is one of the best spots to see wildlife in Africa. It is also one of the best places to go for birding in Uganda.
  • Drive back to your lodge for dinner and a night.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 10 Departure (approx. 389)
  • After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will set off from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe for your onward flight back home.
  • You will have lunch en route and later on proceed with your journey up to Entebbe or up to a place of your own choice in Kampala or Entebbe.
