I am Ssemakula Albert Peter, the Founder and CEO of Alpha Adventure Safaris, an adventure enthusiast, community tourism advocate, and Electromechanical Engineer by profession. My journey into the world of tourism started from a deep-rooted passion for adventure and community engagement. In 2007, during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Uganda, I was hired to drive my only van, which opened my eyes to the gap between tourism and local communities. I realized that adventure tourism lacked expertise and that there was a need to bridge the connection between visitors and the authentic local experiences of East Africa. Determined to make a difference, I spent years researching and understanding the industry, and in 2014, I officially launched Alpha Adventure Safaris—a premier tour company in East Africa based in Uganda. Today, we are known for curating immersive adventure experiences that go beyond traditional safaris, blending thrill-seeking activities with sustainable community tourism. With over 17 years of experience in the tourism industry, I have explored every corner of East Africa, from the lush forests of Bwindi to the majestic Serengeti, and I know what this incredible region has to offer. My goal is to ensure that every traveler experiences the true essence of Africa—its adventure, its people, and its breathtaking landscapes.
